The Floor Is Lava

Hey there! I'm Jeremy, a first-year game production student at JAMK University of Applied Science in Finland. I've been working on a little game prototype that I'd like to share with you.

The Game:

In this game, you play as a ball navigating a simple obstacle course. The goal is to collect bolts and nuts as quickly as possible, setting time records and aiming for high scores. It's a basic prototype, but I hope you'll find it fun to play around with.

Background:

I created this 3D obstacle course/platformer using Unity. It all started as part of the Unity Learn pathway challenges, but it grew into something more. I wanted to showcase what I've learned since I started my game development journey back in August 2022.

Initially, I planned to host the game on Unity Play's webGL platform. But as I kept adding more features and content, it became too large to run smoothly in a browser without sacrificing a lot of my work. So, I decided to share it here on itch.io instead.

I'm anxiously excited to upload my prototype and put myself out there. I'm hoping that some kind souls like you will play it and provide constructive feedback or tips. I'm eager to learn and improve!
